Terms of Sale - May Anthony

At May Anthony, we work hard to ensure your order is carefully made and delivered to you as smoothly as possible. Please take a moment to review the following terms before completing your purchase.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By using our website or purchasing from May Anthony, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please refrain from using the website or placing an order. Each purchase forms a binding contract of sale with May Anthony LLC for delivery destinations in North or South America, and with May Anthony LTD for delivery destinations in all other regions.

ORDERS & PRODUCT INFORMATION

All May Anthony shoes are individually handmade to order for each customer. Production begins immediately once an order is placed, so discretionary cancellations are not available once production has begun. Eligible returns after delivery are governed by our Refund Policy and are accepted for exchange or store credit only, not a refund to the original payment method, except where a confirmed manufacturing fault or incorrect item requires another remedy. We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders where we believe they may violate our policies, involve fraudulent activity, or otherwise fall outside reasonable use.

As every pair is crafted by hand, minor variations in embroidery, color, or texture may occur and should be regarded as hallmarks of artisanal production rather than defects.

CUSTOM ARTWORK, DESIGNS & EXCLUSIVITY

When you submit custom artwork, initials, logos, symbols, words, images, embroidery ideas, or other design materials, you confirm that you own them or have the necessary rights and permissions for May Anthony to use them.

Custom orders are not exclusive unless we agree to exclusivity in writing before your order is placed.

Unless exclusivity is agreed in writing, you allow May Anthony to photograph, display, market, reproduce, adapt, sell, offer, and otherwise use any custom design, embroidery concept, layout, motif, artwork, or finished product created from or inspired by your submission, without further approval or compensation.

You remain responsible for any claims, losses, or costs arising from materials you submit. We may decline any custom request that we believe may infringe intellectual property rights, violate the law, or conflict with our brand standards.

This means May Anthony may sell the same or similar design to other customers unless we have separately agreed in writing that your design is exclusive.

PRICING & PAYMENT

All prices are listed in your chosen currency at checkout and are payable in full at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or update product availability prior to accepting an order. For orders delivered to the United States and United Kingdom, customs duties and import taxes are included in the checkout price. For other destinations, local charges may apply. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Orders are dispatched from our Lagos atelier using DHL Express, UPS, FedEx or other applicable couriers depending on destination.

Single-pair orders are shipped in individual branded shoe boxes.

Orders containing multiple pairs - including promotional purchases such as Buy One Get One offers - are typically shipped in consolidated outer packaging designed to safely hold more than one pair. Promotional or bundled purchases are fulfilled as a single shipment and are not treated as separate full-price retail transactions for packaging purposes.

If individual outer packaging is specifically required for gifting or presentation, this can be arranged prior to dispatch for an additional packaging and shipping fee.

Delivery times generally range from two to five business days once shipped. These timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance or courier delays.

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, May Anthony is not liable for delays caused by customs procedures, courier disruptions, or events outside our control. Delivery dates are indicative and do not constitute a guarantee.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

We want every pair of May Anthony shoes to meet your expectations. Eligible items may be returned for exchange or store credit only, provided the return is received within twenty-one (21) days of delivery.

To initiate a return, exchange, or store credit, please contact us at hello@mayanthony.com and we’ll personally guide you through the next steps.

Returned items must be unworn, in new condition, and sent in their original packaging. Eligible returns are accepted for exchange or store credit only and are not refundable to the original payment method. Custom and personalised pairs are not returnable or exchangeable.

Pairs bought under a promotion may be exchanged or returned for store credit within twenty-one (21) days of delivery on the same terms as full-price items, but are not refundable to the original payment method. Where an exchange or credit relates to one pair from a promotional order, the credit is based on the price actually paid for that pair.

Customers are responsible for the cost, safe packaging, and delivery of all return shipments. We recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as we cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in transit. All return parcels must be clearly declared as “Returned Goods” on the airway bill and customs documentation to avoid import duties or delays. Returns must be received within the 21-day period.

If an item is defective or incorrect, please contact us promptly with photographs and your order reference. Once verified, we will repair, remake, or replace the pair at no cost.

PROMOTIONS & SPECIAL OFFERS

From time to time, we may offer promotions such as a second pair at 50% off or other discounted bundles. Pairs bought under a promotion may be exchanged or returned for store credit within twenty-one (21) days of delivery as set out above, but are not refundable to the original payment method. Promotional codes and offers cannot be applied retrospectively or combined with other discounts.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All product designs, images, written content, and trademarks featured on our website are the property of May Anthony Ltd or its affiliates. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, May Anthony shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our website, delays in shipment, or performance of our products. Our total liability shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the goods in question.

PRIVACY

We treat your personal information with strict confidentiality. All data collected during checkout or communication with us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

GOVERNING LAW

For customers within the United Kingdom and Europe, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For customers in the United States and elsewhere, they are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any disputes arising shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of those jurisdictions.
